Overview
We teamed up with our friends at New Balance Promote new colourways of the New Balance 327—one of the brand’s best-selling silhouettes—through a high-impact EDM that reinforces its heritage roots while positioning it as a modern, style-forward sneaker.
Role
The 327 already had hype. The problem wasn’t awareness—it was standing out without trying too hard. The design needed to feel premium, directional, and unmistakably New Balance, while still doing the unglamorous job of driving clicks and conversions.
Approach
Retro motion, modern clarity.
The EDM borrows from vintage athletics—track lines, colour bands, and racing curves—then sharpens it with contemporary typography, crisp photography, and generous white space. It’s heritage, but styled for now.
Outcome
The final EDM presents the 327 as both a design object and a wearable everyday sneaker—balancing nostalgia with modern appeal. It strengthens brand consistency, supports retail conversion, and keeps the product front and centre from open to click.
