Overview
We collaborated with Lenovo to produce an animated video promoting the new 500w laptop, designed specifically for students. The aim was to highlight how the device supports creativity both inside and outside the classroom, encouraging self-expression and exploration through technology.

 

Role
I led the creative development art directing, designing, and animating the video. The visual concept was inspired by playful, classroom-related objects like sticky notes, rulers, scribbles, and doodles, bringing a sense of fun and familiarity to the storytelling.

 

Approach
We crafted a bright and energetic animation style to reflect the creative potential the 500w unlocks for students. With a mix of tactile textures and dynamic transitions, the video captured the energy of student life while showcasing the laptop’s versatility and user-friendly design.

 

Outcome
The final video launched across Lenovo’s social channels, resonating with a younger audience by blending functionality with playfulness. The campaign effectively positioned the 500w as a creative companion for students, wherever learning happens.
